Ready your band for world domination by booking slots in music rehearsal studios

It’s an issue that has plagued bands for decades; you know could be really good if you got a chance to practise on a regular basis, but where can you do it? For some reason, the neighbours don’t appreciate the drums and bass thumping through the walls, which leaves you in a bit of a pickle.

Although booking rehearsal studios sounds like something a professional band would do in order to practise for an upcoming tour, these studios are actually extremely affordable for bands and musicians of all levels, usually charging an hourly rate with a discount for block booking. While there may be multiple studios in close proximity to each other in the same building, they will all be soundproofed in order to prevent music leaking from room to room and disturbing other musicians, solving the problem that would have originally forced you to seek out a rehearsal space where you can practise in peace.

In addition, music rehearsal studios may also provide various pieces of equipment for participants to make use of. While some, such as PA systems and microphones, will be free and already set up so you can hit the ground running, others, such as pianos, drum kits and amplifier, will cost their own hourly rates to use. If you need to spend consecutive days in the rehearsal space then you will probably be able to securely store your instruments overnight rather than lugging them back and forth and, if you get to the point where you think you’d like to record your own stuff, some studios may have their own studios that can also be booked up – check its website for details. You’ll be wondering why you persisted with the garage for so long with these studios waiting for you the whole time!
